Going west there is "Pantalica" a necropolis of the Bronze
Age, located on impressive canyons, and "Palazzuolo", the

capital of "Noto" (Unesco world heritage), with its
magnificient urban views, and the natural park of "Vendicari",
facing the sea, where the natural environment is still
untouched. Sea resorts are in "Fontane Bianche" and
"Arenella", they can be also reached by bus.

baroque) 35km, Modica-Ragusa 70km, Catania/Etna 60km,
Taormina 110km. Agrigento with the "valley of temples" at
about 210km, Piazza Armerina with "Villa Casale" and its
finest collection of Roman mosaics, is at about two
hours drive.
